Two proteins were identified in no less than three ODs, namely, plasma-protein-coding gene ATF6B was identified in senile cataract (FDR.p = 4.66 × 10−2), AMD (FDR.p = 6.80 × 10−3), glaucoma (FDR.p = 2.26 × 10−3), and DR (FDR.p = 3.10 × 10−52); plasma-protein-coding gene C2 was identified in senile cataract (FDR.p = 3.18 × 10−3), AMD (FDR.p = 5.42 × 10−4), and DR (FDR.p = 9.97 × 10−54). The gene discussed is ATF6B; the disease is age-related macular degeneration.
