Serum phosphate and hemoglobin levels were positively associated (r = 0.042, p = 0.001) (Figure 1), and both variables were related to albumin, serum calcium, dementia, diabetes, serum bicarbonate, kT/V, COPD, malignancy, phosphate binders, serum potassium, reactive c protein, and heart failure (all p < 0.05, Supplementary Table S1). Here, CRP is linked to dementia.
