Two statistically significant hits were the eukaryotic protein leucine rich repeat Flightless-1 interacting protein 1 (LRRF1/LRRFIP1/GCF2) and its binding partner, Flightless-1 (FLI1/FLII), both of which localize to the inclusion membrane during chlamydial infection (28). Here, LRRFIP1 is linked to chlamydia trachomatis infectious disease.
