When evaluating AGO2 expression across TCGA-ACC clusters (COC1, COC2, and COC3) (Zheng et al. 2016), the COC3 group, which has the worst prognosis, exhibited significantly higher AGO2 levels compared to COC1 and COC2, indicating a potential role of AGO2 in the pathogenesis of aggressive ACC. This evidence concerns the gene AGO2 and adrenal cortex carcinoma.
