Our results are consistent with a previous study that investigated the association between NOVA 4 and breast cancer risk by molecular status suggesting no differences in risk estimates [ER+ or PR+: OR10% increase=1.04 (0.96 – 1.13); HER2+: OR10% increase=0.96 (0.84 – 1.10); ER-PR-HER2-: OR10% increase=0.93 (0.75 – 1.15)] (Romaguera et al., 2021).
