BAG3 and Cognitive impairment: In this study, we found that a single unilateral TBI altered the cell-type-specific expression of BAG3 (Fig. 4 and Supplementary Fig. 6), which is associated with decreased ALP-associated genes and increased p62 puncta formation (Fig. 8a–g), ptau in EX neurons and OLG (Fig. 1b–e and Supplementary Fig. 2a–d), gliosis (Fig. 1f–k and Supplementary Fig. 3), synaptic dysfunction (Fig. 2a–d), and cognitive deficits (Fig. 2e–h) in WT and hTKI mouse models.
