In the multivariate analysis of indicators measured three days post-treatment, significant associations with MRSA infection were observed for age (OR: 2.611, 95% CI: 1.034–6.597, P = 0.042), absence of pyogenic arthritis (OR: 0.345, 95% CI: 0.141–0.843, P = 0.020), CRP (OR: 3.741, 95% CI: 1.192–11.744, P = 0.024), and WBC count (OR: 5.091, 95% CI: 1.896–13.674, P = 0.001) (Table 5). Here, CRP is linked to bacterial arthritis.
