Results from our study elucidated that the protein levels of the surface glycoproteins cluster of differentiation 4 (CD4), cluster of differentiation 25 (CD25) and interleukin-7 receptor (CD127) were remarkably down-regulated (p < 0.05) in the RA untreated group while other treated groups revealed a crucial up-regulation (p < 0.05) in these levels with the maximum increase in the combination group with no significance between normal and VIS control groups (Fig. 10). Here, CD4 is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
