Relative preservation of activities of daily living, in contrast to the severe apraxia demonstrated on testing, was recorded more often in association with PPA than apraxia clinical presentation (Fisher’s exact test p = 0.003, Φ = 0.86) and more often with TDP than tau pathology (Fisher’s exact test, p = 0.007, Φ = 0.84). Here, MAPT is linked to primary progressive aphasia.
