Although the above results suggest that senegenin can regulate insomnia by mediating GAD67 to regulate the PINK1/Parkin signalling pathway, interestingly, the mRNA and protein expression of PINK1, Parkin, and LC3 were inconsistent in GAD67‐transfected PC12 cells, and the mRNA expression of PINK1, Parkin, and LC3 was increased in the GAD‐OE group, but the protein expression was decreased, which we hypothesise is due to changes in the translational levels of certain organelles and requires further exploration. The gene discussed is MAP1LC3A; the disease is insomnia.
