In particular, in 93/4286 infected mice we observed increased activation of caspase-1, caspase-11, gasdermin-D, caspase-7, IL-1β and IL-18 during the course of infection with peak activation of caspase-1 and caspase-11 at 24 h and a slight decrease at 48 h (Figures 4A–C), while peak activation of gasdermin-D and caspase-7 was reached at 48 h (Figures 4A, F, G).
