The analysis of routinely investigated laboratory biomarkers and clinical characteristics confirmed that proinflammatory markers (CRP, ESR, ferritin, LDH), coagulation and fibrinolysis markers (e.g., fibrinogen, D-dimer), immune cells (neutrophils, eosinophils, lymphocytes, monocytes) and Delta variant infection along with age may predict disease severity (Supplementary Table 3). The gene discussed is ESR1; the disease is infection.
