The expression of TAGLN in urine samples was significantly increase in patients with advanced CKD than in those with early CKD (CKD stage 1, −3.30 ± 0.76; CKD stage 5, 0.12 ± 0.84; p = 0.009) and moderate CKD (CKD stage 3, −3.58 ± 0.55; CKD stage 5; p = 0.002; Fig. 7b). Here, TAGLN is linked to chronic kidney disease.
