To evaluate the link between radioresistance and RNA m6A modification in ESCC, we examined the mRNA and protein expression levels of several dominant m6A methyltransferases (METTL3, METTL14 and WTAP) and demethylases (FTO and ALKBH5) in previously established parental and radioresistant ESCC cell lines. Here, MBD2 is linked to esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
