In this study, out of the 45 patients included, 12 (85%) among 14 patients who had MACEs like heart failure had a Tpeak-Tend/QT interval ratio of more than 0.3, and their measured NT-proBNP levels were also more than 900 pg/mL, thus showing a statistically significant association between Tpeak-Tend/QT interval ratio and NT-proBNP. Here, NPPB is linked to heart failure.
