Compared to patients with BNP of ≤18.1, the adjusted hazard ratios for AF detection in those with BNP of >18.1 to ≤43.4, >43.4 to ≤100.0, and >100 pg/mL were 0.83 (95% CI 0.41–1.66; p = 0.59), 1.62 (95% CI 0.78–3.35, p = 0.19) and 2.47 (95% CI 1.24–4.93, p = 0.010), respectively (Supplementary Table S2).
