Inhibition of LOX and CLOCK-OLFML3 axis markedly inhibits tumor growth and suppresses macrophage and microglia infiltration in GBM mouse models (13, 20), indicating that targeting LOX and CLOCK-OLFML3 axis are promising therapeutic strategies for reducing the infiltration of immunosuppressive and tumor potentiating macrophages and microglia into the GBM TME.
