LOX and glioblastoma: To confirm its role in regulating immune response in vivo, we developed GBM mouse models by intracranial injection of CT2A (PTEN-deficient) or 005 GSC, a GSC line harboring activated AKT (33, 34), and treated them with LOX neutralizing antibodies or LOX inhibitor β-aminopropionitrile (BAPN), which showed an ability to cross the blood-brain barrier (BBB) (Supplemental Figure 1, A–C; supplemental material available online with this article; https://doi.org/10.1172/JCI178628DS1).
