Our analysis highlighted ADAMTS2 (a disintegrin-like and metalloprotease with thrombospondin type 1 motif 2) as one of the most consistently conserved intronic APA events across all 10 normal tissues, suggesting that the truncated ADAMTS2 transcripts (ENST00000274609.5 and ENST00000518335.3) are more abundant in normal tissues than in tumor tissues (Fig. 3b, c). This evidence concerns the gene ADAMTS2 and neoplasm.
