This study, based on network pharmacology and molecular docking validation, suggests that emodin may exert therapeutic effects on HBV-related HCC by downregulating the expression of XRCC1, MAPK3, PCNA, HSP90AA1, and SOD2, and upregulating the expression of PTGS2 and GSTP1. This evidence concerns the gene GSTP1 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
