IL6 and infection: Spinal cords of wild-type mice contained significantly higher levels of IFN-β and IL-6 at day 5 post-infection (p ≤ 0.05) (Figure 4) and IFN-γ, IL-1β, CCL3, CCL5, and CXCL9 at 5 and 9 days post-infection (p ≤ 0.05) (Figure 4).
