Further analysis of IgG glycan structures revealed significant correlations between specific glycan peaks and total cholesterol, triglycerides, and LDL cholesterol levels, with nine glycan peaks, including GP1, GP4, GP5, GP6, GP11, GP14, GP18, GP20, and GP21, used to build a model capable of differentiating individuals with dyslipidemia from healthy controls [24]. This evidence concerns the gene CD36 and metabolic syndrome.
