TP53 and neoplasm: On top of that, investigation on DU-145 tumor xenografts in athymic nude mice revealed that daily oral consumption of anthocyanin (8 mg/kg) for 14 weeks resulted in a notable dose-dependent increase in apoptosis, significant reduction in p53 and Bcl-2 expressions (along with escalated Bax expression), and marked decrease in PSA and AR expressions.
