Additionally, the aqueous, 50%, and 95% ethanolic extracts of B. alba demonstrated significant inhibitory effects on cellular tyrosinase activity in the IBMX-induced melanoma cells, with values of 94.07 ± 1.05%, 89.63 ± 5.24%, and 99.26 ± 4.19% of the control, respectively (p < 0.05) (Figure 2b). This evidence concerns the gene TYR and melanoma.
