Among the patients with adequately controlled T2D, 84.21% were on metformin therapy, 47.36% on sodium–glucose co-transporter inhibitors (SGLT2i), 31.57% on dipeptidyl peptidase 4 inhibitors, 63.15% on glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RA), 5.26% on sulfonylureas (SUs), 5.26% on pioglitazone, and 15.78% on insulin (p < 0.001 for all the comparisons versus the T1D group).
