Under pathological conditions, IL-17-related pathways lead to certain immune diseases such as psoriasis, active ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), multiple sclerosis (MS), and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and tumors in a wide range of organs including the colon, liver, pancreas, lungs, and bile ducts [22,23,24].
