EGCG loaded with poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles suppressed the NF-κB pathway and inhibited the mRNA expression of several downstream molecules, such as MMP-2, cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), and tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), in the lung cancer cell lines A549 and H1299. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and lung carcinoma.
