Importantly, HER2 point mutations represent the most common HER2 alterations, occurring in 7–14% of SBAs [155,156], whereas amplifications are rarer, occurring in about 4% of SBAs and accounting for only a quarter of HER2 alterations in SBAs, differently from colorectal cancer [154,155,157,158]. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and colorectal cancer.
