In a mouse model of glioblastoma (GBM), the p300 inhibitor CPI-1612 was shown to eliminate histone lactylation and its mediated IL10 expression in monocyte-derived macrophages, thereby enhancing the efficacy of immunotherapy for GBM, while acetylation (Kac) modification levels remained unaffected [69].
