IL13 and eosinophilic esophagitis: In HOME0, our optimized ADF-based medium, biopsy-derived normal human esophageal organoids display morphology and growth kinetics that are comparable to those grown in KSFMC and display BCH-like changes in response to interleukin (IL)-13, an inflammatory cytokine essential in the pathogenesis of eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) and UAB30, a novel pharmacological activator of retinoic acid signaling.
