The treatment with OZOILE induced a significant increase in the NRF2 mRNA levels (4.2 folds) when compared to both untreated or corticosteroid-treated tissues (p < 0.001) (Figure 1A), while did not produce changes in the transcript levels of both NF-kB subunits, i.e., p50 and p65, in comparison with foreskin tissues from LS patients without any medications (Figure 1B).
