Multiple genes are up-regulated within the tumour and stromal compartments of p16+/HPV+ tumours relative to p16+/HPV- and p16-/HPV- (Figure 2C left and centre panels), including several whose function relates to anti-tumoural immune responses (CXCL9, CXCL10, CCL5, STAT1, ITGB2, PSMB10, B2M, CD74 and HLA-DRB).
