IMP3 and neoplasm: IMP3, also known as tumor overexpressed K homologous region-containing protein (II), is an mRNA-binding protein that can specifically bind to IGF-II mRNA during embryonic development and participate in the regulation of IcF-II mRNA localization, stability, reverse transcription, and translation; regulate the expression of IGF-II; and then participate in the regulation of tumor cell growth, differentiation, apoptosis, adhesion, and movement (57, 58).
