HIV-negative samples had overall lower median CD8+ T-cell counts (399 ± 461) compared to the HIV+ cART-naïve and HIV+ pre-NHL (cART-naïve) samples, while HIV+ cART-naïve had an overall higher median of CD8+ T cells (822 ± 512) compared to HIV+ pre-NHL (cART-naïve) (636 ± 403). This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
