Pathway analyses of the transcripts affected by m6A hypermethylation revealed several networks that are important for β-cell development such as “endoderm differentiation,” “maturity-onset diabetes of the young,” and “FOXA2 and FOXA3 transcription factor network,” comparing S3 vs S0, S4 vs S3, or S6 vs S4 (Fig. 2D; Dataset EV1).
