miR-509-3p overexpression significantly reduced p-p38 and p-MK2 levels, but FOXM1 overexpression weakened this reduction (Figure 6A–6C), indicating that miR-509-3p suppresses the malignant behavior of GC cells by inhibiting FOXM1-mediated p38/MK2 pathway activation. This evidence concerns the gene FOXM1 and gastric cancer.
