PROMID was a phase IIIB study that included 85 treatment-naïve patients with NET from the midgut (small intestine and right colon) [26], of whom most had low hepatic tumor burden (64/85 with ≤ 10%) and G1 disease (81/85 with Ki-67 ≤ 2%) and some (33/85) had carcinoid syndrome [12]. Here, MKI67 is linked to carcinoid syndrome.
