A lumbar puncture was performed, and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis showed a total nucleated cell of 290 cells/ml, elevated segmented neutrophils percentage (5%), protein level (300 mg/dL), and hypoglycorrhachia (34 mg/dL), but red blood cells, lymphocyte percentage in CSF (Lymph CSF %), macrophage percentage, Venereal Disease Research Laboratory (VDRL), meningitis panel, encephalitis antibodies (Abs), West Nile antibody immunoglobulin G (Ab IgG), and immunoglobulin M (IgM) are unremarkable (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene CD40LG and infectious meningitis.
