GLRX2 and polycystic ovary syndrome: In summary, through the integration of genetics and the human plasma proteome, we found that the levels of three protein-coding genes (CDCP1, GLRX2, and KIRREL2) may be linked to a higher risk of PCOS, suggesting that they may be an entry point for exploring the pathogenesis and treatment of PCOS, warranting further basic and clinical investigations.
