CD8A and neoplasm: In immunosuppressed lung transplant recipients, the EBV-specific CD8 T-Cell receptor αβ repertoire was found to be maintained, and early detection of EBV-specific T cells could potentially serve as a predictor of subsequent EBV blood viremia.[15] In patients with EBV-infected HIV, loss of T cell functionality and TCR-Vβ repertoire against EBV has been associated with poor prognosis and clinical parameters.[18] In our study, we also observed a child with X-linked immunodeficiency associated with enzyme deficiency who had EBV infection and tumor formation in the EB group.
