Finally, the Kaplan–Meier test indicated that PDHX Lys 488 acetylation, but not total PDHX expression was significantly associated with patient survival time (Fig. 1H and 1I), suggesting that the level of PDHX Lys 488 acetylation could potentially serve as a prognostic biomarker for HCC (all statistically significant; Tables S1–3).
