Notably, our study showed that the expression of CFD was associated with drug sensitivity of AML patients; cytarabine, doxorubicin, and bortezomib were more sensitive to AML patients with low expression of CFD, while sorafenib, lenalidomide, and bexarotene were more sensitive to AML patients with high expression of CFD, indicating that CFD could not only be used for prognostic assessment but also to guide clinical treatment. This evidence concerns the gene CFD and acute myeloid leukemia.
