Recent study had shown that Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase SETD1A/Sentrin-specific protease 1 (SETD1A/SENP1) could regulate glycolysis and modulate the progression of gastric cancer and prostatic carcinoma cells by interacting with HIF-1α, which implicated that SETD1A/SENP1 may be a novel molecular target for the gastric cancer and prostatic carcinoma treatment [29, 30].
