NOTCH4 is activated binding to its corresponding ligand to participate in the NOTCH pathway, closely involving in regulating the EMT process and promoting the invasion and metastasis of colorectal cancer, breast cancer, melanoma, lung adenocarcinoma and other cancers (Zhou et al., 2020; Lin et al., 2016; Li et al., 2021; Scheurlen et al., 2022; Wu et al., 2018).
