Previous studies using the echocardiographic images and DL model [32] and handcrafted echocardiographic parameters and ML [34] reported an average AUC of 0.87 (5-fold- cross-validation (CV)) and 0.82 (0.95, 0.76, 0.78, and 0.80 on the four external tests) in detecting cardiac amyloidosis and wild-type ATTR-CM, respectively.
