BRD2 and cancer: As shown in Figure 1A, BRD1, BRD2, BRD3, BRD4, and BRD7-9 were significantly upregulated in tumor samples expressing high levels of p16, a surrogate biomarker for HPV-positive cancers (43), and the presence of HPV DNA through in situ hybridization (44), compared to normal samples (p<0.05).
