Some genes mapped to the loci associated with AD and GrimAge age acceleration, as well as AD and exceptional longevity were linked to neurodegenerative disorders, such as KCNJ3 and ERMN were associated with epilepsy (Bartnik et al., 2012; Leitner et al., 2022); NR4A2 involved in intellectual developmental disorder with language impairment and early‐onset dopa‐responsive dystonia‐parkinsonism (Kochmanski et al., 2022); APOE, known as the genetic risk factor for AD (Guo et al., 2023). Here, NR4A2 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
