There was an elevated expression of IFNAR1 (IFNα/β receptor subunit 1), IFNAR2 (IFNα/β receptor subunit 2), IFNGR1 (IFNγ receptor subunit 1) and IFNGR2 (IFNγ receptor subunit 2, Fig. 5d) in MIS-C, bacterial infection and KD in comparison with viral infection. This evidence concerns the gene IFNAR2 and bacterial infectious disease.
