In Minicozzi et al. 2013’s study, in ER+ PR+ female BC patients, after adjusting for other variables, patients with blood glucose levels >94 mg/dL had a higher mortality rate than those with blood glucose levels between 84.1 and 94.0 mg/dL, and demonstrated that high FBG and BMI are independently associated with an increased risk of mortality in BC (Minicozzi et al., 2013). This evidence concerns the gene PGR and breast cancer.
