Initial laboratory results were significant for hypokalemia (3.3 mmol/L), severe hypercalcemia (19.1 mg/dL), elevated parathyroid hormone (PTH) (661.5 pg/mL), increased blood urea nitrogen and creatinine (25 mg/dL and 1.40 mg/dL), and a low thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) (0.322 μU/mL) as shown in Table 1.
