In addition to a reduction in translational capacity, the Yoshida AH‐130 ascites hepatoma caused a significant reduction in 4E‐BP1 phosphorylation in both skeletal (−74.02%, p < 0.001) and cardiac (−81.66%, p = 0.004) muscles (Figure 3a,b). This evidence concerns the gene EIF4EBP1 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
